How do I write a DVD of mp3s

In the past I have written a CD of mp3s so that I can have lots of tracks at a party without having to change the CD so often. I`ve used Nero to write the CD. It played fine in my Toshiba DVD player.

In my ignorance I thought I would write a DVD of the same kind with even more tracks. I have written an ISO DVD rom of the mp3s but my DVD player says "disc error".

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong, dont just say everything :(
and what I should do

Any help gratefully received

RE: UNDELIVERED SPLASH DVDS!

Hi Clare

I ordered 4 DVDs on the 27th November. The final one arrived in the middle of February.
SPLASH are not usually fast!!!!!!!!
I ordered knowing that they were slow (but cheap).
I sent several polite emails when I was told by SPlash that a DVD had been despatched but hadnt arrived with me 2 weeks later. They replied to all of them within a few days. I suggest that you are prepared to wait - do so, your DVD will arrive eventually. If not email them politely asking for your payment to be returned - I believe that they are also slow to return payments.

Splash voucher

Is it still possible to get £10 off £40 at Splash with a code like "popsplash"?
Ken

RE: free delivery this weekend only

Was yours a "Rush" order Ste? :)

Toshiba SD220E DVD player giving too much red

The pictures from the DVD seemed to have too much red after I connected a videosender (from Aldi) to the system.
I have since removed the sender but there is still too much red in TV images from the DVD player.
Any ideas?
Ken

Planetmicro

I`m thinking of buying a Pioneer DVR-106 DVD writer.
Planetmicro has them at £81.61 and I can`t find cheaper.
Anyone know what Planetmicro are like?
Delivey times, aftersales service etc.
Cheers
Ken

RE: Splash & Customs

The items were in fact posted separately- so as you say customs would not be a problem.
My original email to splash was to ask them to post the items separately so that I did not get charged import etc duty.
Their reply was the one that I posted earlier.
Ken

RE: Splash & Customs

I ordered over £40 of DVDs (and got £10 off) including friends 5 boxed. 4 DVDs in all.

RE: Splash & Customs

I have not been hit by customs but I too was concerned so I emailed Splash (politely) and got this email
"Dear customer

Although we are based in Jersey, it is very rare that there are customs charges on items to the UK. If you do receive a customs charge we would ask you to please send the receipt of the charges and we will fully reimburse you.

Yours sincerely
Steph Jones"

Their delivery times are not good!! but their prices can be :-) and I have always got my DVDs and I liked the email above.

England Rugby World Cup 2003 Official Review DVD

Despatch Mon 8th Dec

£13.99 at CDWOW UK and the equivalent of about £11.60 on their HK site.

Is the CDWOW HK site quick and reliable?
Can you use CDWOW UK 50p vouchers there?
Anyone know of any money off links for the HK site?

If anyone sees cheaper elsewhere keep me posted please.

Thx
Ken

RE: Will LOTR Two Towers get cheaper?

Accepted :-)

I am just new to buying DVDs and have often bought computers and bits too soon and a few months later they were much cheaper.

DVD.co.uk will get my order!!!!!

In praise of Splashdvd

Ok - I am sure they get a lot of bad publicity for slow delivery (and more?) BUT I gotta say that if you are prepared for the wait (my 4 DVDS took 2 to 3 weeks though the first was a week) with a £10 off on £40 you can get some good buys.
I also emailed them about a likely problem of having to pay customs from Jersey and got a very nice email saying that if I had to pay customs they would refund it. As it happened I had no such problem.
I repeat - I did not expect fast service but am very satisfied.
Ken

Will LOTR Two Towers get cheaper?

It seems that £17.99 at DVD.CO.UK is the best delivered price for the four disk version BUT I am a cheapskate - I dont want to pay too much - is it likely to get cheaper than this in the near future?
Regards
Ken

LOR Two Towers

I want the Lord of the Rings Two Towers with all of the extra film scenes but am not interested in how the film was made etc.
Which version?
Where is it available at the best price?
Thx
Ken

RE: cd-wow at least £1 off voucher

Clicked the link - can`t find £1 off :(

RE: Any views on Acoustic Research Aego P%

System arrived on wednesday as promised and sounds (and looks) good.

RE: Help on setting up system

Sorry for the late reply - my b******* hard drive has crashed.

I`ve tried what you suggested - it works great - thx.

I do not seem to get much (any?) sound from the rear speakers. I have tested them - they work ok.
Will they only be used when running DVDs or might some digital TV programmes use them?

Thx
Ken
