Yeah I`ve got a Rock laptop about 18 months ago and still have it now. Couldn`t be happier. The warrenties are top notch (they collect and return it for you, and if they can`t fix it within ten days they give you a new one until they do)

The spec on mine was top of the range then and cost around £1,700 but that was easily £200-300 cheaper than Dell, Compaq. and the spec is perfect for waht I need and I use it alot. and their service seems really friendly and personal.

I ordered Fast and Furious From Play and got it before Xmas when release was 2nd Jan

Also, Oceans Eleven 7th May release - I got it around 25th April from CD-Wow

I know what you mean though I kind of expected to receive my CD`s on the release day but I think its the record companies who don`t allow early shipping.

I`ve had On Digital and I believe they could quite easily have survived and been a decent rival to Sky, however they seemed to lack one thing - a decent service - the box was crap, the remote was crap and the signal was temperamental!! they should have sorted this out first before handing out huge sums of money in the hope that the football would attract subsribers.

I remember reading an article outlining how much their advertising campaign was costing when split between the number of subscribers and it worked out that they spent £250 for each subsriber. The customers spend less than that on subscription fees per year so simple maths tells them that they are not making money.

A contract is a contract and you certainly can`t blame the football league for the mistakes made by ITV Digital. To sign a contract and then expect the FL to accept a lesser amount is pathetic. Its like going into HMV buying a DVD and then returning the next day telling them you think it was too expensive and that they should give you some money back.

This is ITV whe are talking about here!

Anyway, as a fan of a Div 1 team (soon to be Premiership) I`ll definately be watching BBC1 (also because Ian Wright is funny as fcuk!)

I`d try Wal-mart who have their own electrical department (Good for MD players, CD players etc.) or Winn Dixie who often have to cheaper DVD`s (Bit like Woolworths Bargain bins)

K-mart used to be good but I think there are in administration so not sure about that one (not been to USA for around 6 months)

Other than that, smaller electrical stores and Malls are probably your best bet

I think my best option is to redesign it in 800x600 (This is what i should have done initially!!!!)

Is there any way of reducing it down from 1024 x 768 in Dreamweaver does anybody know??

I don`t know a great deal about website design either, all i really know is how to use Dreamweaver.

I just thought there may have been some HTML code that automatically resizes the browser so that anyone viewing the site (in 1024 x 768 or 800 X 600) can fit it all in.??!??!?!

I think the major problem with these Malaysian discs is the variations in quality, i`ve bought a couple and whilst some have decent sound and picture, others are like watching a dodgy VHS. I guess thats the price you pay for getting the titles a few months early.

Website Design Questions

Hi

Currently designing a website for my parents and have designed it in 1024 x 768 screen size, however this means that when viewed on 800 x 600, you have to scan sideways to see the whole screen, I`ve designed the site using Dreamweaver 2 and was just wondering if I can incorporate any auto-resizing so that it fits perfectly on all screens, alternatively are there any other things that can be done other than designing the whole site again!!!!

For them to call you it would be 01144 + your area code (minus the zero)

ie. if your area code is 01234 it would be 011441234

I know this doesn`t help you a great deal but thats all I remeber as I was out there a few months ago.

to call orlando would be 001-407 (407 being the code for FLA)
