Just thought i`d post this, as some may like to look at this...

From: http://www.davisdvd.com

Here`s some of the latest From: http://www.davisdvd.com

Here`s some of the latest Back to the Future news: Director Robert Zemeckis just recently completed recording his audio commentaries (along with series producer/co-writer Bob Gale) for each of the three films. Star Michael J. Fox finished recording his about a month ago. The DVDs are now slated for a December region 1 release. According to various sources, the September foreign market releases of the trilogy will not contain all of the extras planned for the U.S. Among the other extras to be included in the domestic release: newly uncovered deleted scenes from all three films (see previous news item http://www.davisdvd.com/News/daily_...tm#bttf_deleted ), vintage making-of faeturettes, a new Trilogy documentary and video footage of a Q&A session with Zemeckis at USC film school last month.

Does this mean the R2 August release is wrong?

I think I`ll still get the August release for £18, and then sell it on Ebay when the R1 release comes out.

Why not?

******According to various sources, the September foreign market releases of the trilogy will not contain all of the extras planned for the U.S.******

Does this mean the copy at CDwow may not have any extras???

If it does I would rather wait for the copy with extras, trouble is i`ve already pre-ordered and had payment :(

NO. It means that the region 1 release will have more extras than the region 2 and 4 releases. Region 2/4 releases will have all of the extras that were mentioned on the CD wow site.
Once again region 2/4 viewers are being screwed.

no news yet how much the region 1 release will cost.
my guess is it will cost alot more than £17.99 (£17.49 with promotion currently running on cd wow).
i`ve already pre-ordered mine.
just hope the picture quality is good and it comes with DTS sound.
GOT TO BE A BARGAIN for the price

So yet again the short-sighted studios are attempting to screw their customers, but will simply end up annoying them into purchasing via the net from abroad.

It`s not rocket science, is it? Release the same version of all films at the same time everywhere, or is that too easy?

I for one will wait til xmas to get the BTTF box set on R1.
