Yes they do........this is the rc[at]p I have been receiving from them in regard to the cancellation of my ROTK box set.....

Read from the bottom upwards.....

So, you were selling defective copies of this box set to people??

It made no mention of them being a special price because they were defective!

Anyway, I give up with this...you clearly have no idea of what `customer service` means because you have certainly not given me `the customer` the service I deserve.

I have absolutely no intention of buying from your company again and will also inform my friends of your lack of `customer service`.

Please therefore refund my credit card without any further delay and add the 10% interest that I had to pay while my order for a non-existent `defective` item was `pending`.

Yours extremely dissatisfied.

No, DVDSoon don`t suck; I`ve had good stuff from them - well packaged for the extra 1 CAD and good deals as posted on this forum. I did get my ROTK gift set from them for approx £19 and it`s great. However, certainly the saving isn`t worth bursting a blood vessel over. I noticed them for £25 in Woolworths in Bromley (SE London) at the weekend. Maybe spend the 10CAD credit wisely, get out to Woolies and cheer yourself up.

They stink up the gaff. Used them twice, on both occassions they held my money for a month before dispatching. Will never use them ever again!

Already bought it in Woolworths last week....10 ca$ is worthless as you have to pay postage now (and didn`t when I ordered)

Their customer services is non-existent.

Don`t need to cheer up...happy as a happy person on a happy day in happy land......just don`t like people taking my hard earned money, keeping it for 6 weeks and then saying I can`t have what was ordered. Seems it`s not the first time with dvdsoon either......THEY SUCK!

If you look on Amazon.co.uk marketplace, it`s only a tenner. You have to pay postage, but I think it`s only just over a quid, and it`s despatched from within the uk.
I think this link should work....

I couple of years ago I defended DVDSoon against charges of being crap, but never again. I bought a double DVD (Ice Age & Garfield) as a Christmas pressie for the missus. I preordered it in October and its release date was 28 Dec (belated pressie), They took the money in October, marked the order as `Packaging` on 29 Dec, where it stayed for a month, when I wrote to them they told me that excessive demand had caused a backlog and it was on its way. In February it was marked as `In Transit`, in March they told me that it was no longer available, so I told them to send the french language version which was still being advertised, 2 weeks later they said this wasn`t available either, they refused to give me a full refund, but credited my account instead. By the time my girlfriend got her copy of Garfield it was being sold for less than a £5 in the shops, but I ended up paying about £10 to use some of the credit I had with DVD Soon . . . now tell me they aren`t crap.

DVD SOON are RUBBISH.

Ok - if they get your order right then fine BUT when they get it wrong they put you through the hoops in such a way that it is obviously designed to make you give up and them keep your money.

A seller should NOT be judged by when things go right - it is the way a seller deals with a problem that shows how good they are. When there is a problem THEY ARE RUBBISH.

DVD SOON seldom have anything in stock. They hold your money for 1 month to generate interest whilst they go about ordering the item from their suppliers.

My two looooooooong orders were all marked as in stock and ready to dispatch within 48 hours, why did they take a month?

Are there any other reliable region 1 sites other than Play and CD Wow?
