Why does my SC2000 not detect certain audio disks when inserted??

I get the `NO DISK` message. The disks are new (no scratches) and work on all other cd players/computers.

I have made a `RAW` copy of the disks and the copy plays ok.

any comments............

I have had a problem with playing certain audio / PC rom disks on my scan DVD player..... i.e. Cd`s recorded in multi format.

If you are writing CD`s using pc..just ensure they are either MP3 or pure audio cds rather than dual format.. this should resolve any problem..

p.s. who is this iron puke person ? Small penis I wager !
Anybody who is interested.. I have following versions of scan firmware.

1.80, 187, 192, 193,204, 204s
(2.04 does not have macrovision disable option)

If you purchased your sc-2000 player november last year and your firmware version is 1.64, then the upgrade path is 1.80 to 204s

The problem does not relate to copied disks - it`s the originals that don`t work... and yes I have the latest software 204S

E mail me on yellen[at]ku.oc.nacs for macro free 2..04.The manufacturere
knows about the problem.Can you give me the names of some of the
titles so i can send it to them.

Are your problem CDs very long?
I had this problem with several 70+ minutes discs - my third player has fixed all these (only had it 2 days, mind), but curiously refuses to read one of the discs that was ok before!
