Help I am unable to play copied audio disks on my Sony DAVS300 or anything that is not the original disk. I have been told that it`s a firmware problem . Any help or advice would be appreciated.

It is not a firmware issue. It is a Sony cack laser issue. Try different types of disc (Thats Write, Princo spring to mind). Try RWs instead of Rs.
