CHEAP MUSIC DOWNLOADS CHART ALBUMS

http://www.allofmp3.com/

Download full albums without copyright protection for around 90p per album and includes top charts. Company is based in Russia and there stuff on net regarding if it`s legal but according to BBC UK website it`s legal:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4328269.stm

You can pay via paypal (via XROST Prepaid iCards) and you can also choose the bitrate you download on, so if you download speech you can download low bitrate and its cheaper. I`ve used it (downloaded to hard drive then ipod) and found it a good service, but you need to make your own mind up regarding if its legal.

I use legalsounds (www.legalsounds.com) - same as allofmp3 in that they are based in Russia.
So far I have been extremely impressed by the prices (0.09 US cents per song) and their customer service.
I`m not wholly convinced it is legal - they have Beatles songs there which I thought were not for download - but at these prices...........

Yep, we use allofmp3 all the time - it`s excellent :)

It`s like pay as you go, you put on $10 at a time and top up when you`ve used it up

I`ve used allofmp3.ru for a while, works well.
Only trouble is, being a bit old-fashioned, I like to have a nicely printed cd with booklet and all the trimmings, so what I often end up doing is previewing an album on the mp3 site then (if it`s worth getting) finding the cheapest seller using a price comparison site.
Still works out a lot cheaper than going down my High Street.

Had a look at legalsounds - I`m a bit worried why anyone needs to instal a "downloader" if they are just downloading an mp3 file.

Is the thought of downloading spyware from a russian website just my paranoia?

Hi,

This site was listed for a few minutes on this forum a couple of years ago - was taken off by mods re legality question, but I managed to find out just in time!

Been featured on www.bbc.co.uk - not strictly illegal, but maybe not legal was the decision by the court judges! Also was in computer press a couple of months ago re the ruling. Do a search on the bbc website!

Excellent quality and service - absolute 1st class. Haven`t bought an album since. Downloader is very good as well. Most of my team now use this great site.

allofmp3 also push their browser on you but their help page mentions:

`AllOFMP3 Explorer is a program created by AllOFMP3.com`s team to make your work with the site easier and faster. Of course, you may use AllOFMP3.com`s services as usual, by browsing the site with your favorite Internet browser, but in this case many of AllOFMP3 Explorer`s features will be unavailable to you`.

Has anyone used allofmp3 without their download/browser or know if you can use legalsounds the same way? I`d also be paranoid about installing downloaders from these sites!
