according to Comet`s "Full Details" there is no ethernet and no built in wireless but the datasheet states it has both "LAN 10/100 MBit" and "WLAN 54 MBit (IEEE 802.11b/g)"

Did you check if the Scaleo has Lan card? Comet do the HP Pavilion A1108a for £299 definitely has firewire +Lan card fitted, better processor+ build quality as well.

The Scaleo P does have Lan card, I checked it myself in store today, slot has a pic of 3 monitors next to it, is definitely Lan.

Or of course you could look on dabs and pick up a lan card for about a tenner

ONLY PROBLEM WITH THAT IS THAT YOU NEED TO OPEN IT UP TO PUT ONE INSIDE, WHICH BASICALLY BREAKS THE WARRANTY ON THE ITEM!

Yes but as I have already posted, this is not necessary as this model does come already fitted with lan card. In any case, it would be unlikely that something went wrong with these
