Page 1 of Cello R100LB DVD recorder - £89.99 Kwik Save

Kwik Save are selling a `Cello R100LB` DVD recorder for £89.99. It`s one of their `Kwikies` deals. Anybody know anything about it? The model number is the same as one branded Tevion and sold by Aldi some time ago. Is it probably the same player?

I have a feeling it`s a rebadged version of the Mustek R100LB:

The Mustek US site has the R100A, which shows the remote control which is identical to the one in the Kwik Save picture:

Yes it is exactly the same model as the aldi one.

Thanks for the info chaps. I do not know if i will buy it now as i have had problems in the past with Mustek devices and overheating..

I went to buy one at my local branch (stirchley in Brum) and they didn`t have any left. They offered me an alternative one that scanned for £69.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No idea how good it is but the model is called COMPACKS DVD-101. Does anyone know if it is any good?

Do a search through the forums here and you will find out a fair bit about them as there were a few posts on them some time back.

i bought one of those ..around nearly 2 years ago ..maybe a little less....ok machine..
but it will only record on tdk dvds.....and where i live in hull ..(yorkshire)...tdk discs are not cheat at all...even for a pck of three.......by the way i paid just under £200.00 for mine..on sale price....so if you dont mind paying for tdk only ..then i reckon u got a bargian...........
