excellent - I`m definitely buying this as my husband never knew of the original or the story (I`m not telling him either!)

Also, I noticed they have a `Dallas` series 1 & 2 box set on their site too - I never watched the early series but great for avid fans

Mine arrived in the post on Wednesday morning from DVD import. Came through the letter box in a white jiffy no problem. Only real concern with this boxset if the fact that there are only 3 discs (for 19 episodes). At 897m long, that is 300m (5 hours) per disc

Have been looking out for the many TV series, and you may be interested in noting some of the others that have come out / due for release from the cheap R1 sites like DVD Discount, Pacific and DVD Import.

Tour of Duty; The Martian Chronicles; Tekwar; Sliders season 1 and 2. And Dallas season 1 and 2 if you are interested in that as well. This is in addition to the bargain of customs friendly beating fee for the X Files (R4) from DVD Crave for seasons 1-8.

V The Series

Forgot to add, the silver box contains 3 discs. Each one has 2 sides.

No papers books or anything like that. The episode names are printed on the innards.

One good thing for those who remember the mid 80s, the episodes have the original airdate. And you notice they are not in order - yes! Episode 3 Breakout and Episode 9 Reflections in Terror are out of airdate order. Not watched yet, but hopefully a dead key character is not alive a bot later. Easy to rectify but for around 70p an episode, its a good bargain, bargainhunters. And well within Customs...

Sounds ok, however the sound is MONO, and not even stereo, let alone surround. Not being a killjoy, just pointing it out. Seem to remember the tv series was broadcast in surround (as were most USA series), but can`t be 100% on that. Maybe they have lowered the sound option in order to fit the series onto 3 disks. However, if sound is not your thing (it is mine tho`), then this has to be a bargain. Roger.
