Thanks for the acknowledgement but it looks like I should have given the Pentax it`s own thread in the first place so kudos to Pointofview/Little Davel for giving it the promenence it deserved.

If anyone`s still looking for a good quality 3.2MP camera you could do worse than look at the thread on the Canon A70, it`s £40 more (this weekend) but if you want a more advanced camera and/or supplementary lens (ie. wide angle converter or telephoto) the A70 would be ideal.

The pentax is a great deal....with new cams coming on the market (some with less exciting specs ie Minolta X21compared to X20 ) and loads of older cams (well a few months old!) wanting to find good homes...i reckon prices will drop a lot further on a lot of makes. Bargaineers will be kept busy in the next few months !
