AVOID DDHE , is my advice based on experience !!!

RE: At Last the 1948 Show/Do Not Adjust Your Set - £3 at Woolies

I bought this last week. Not bad - but it was 1 disc and not all the episodes were accessible on it ! According to other purchasers on forums this was a common problem.

Nostalgia - something to look forward to !

RE: DDHE - 1914 -18

Sent them a copy of my order confirmation email as requested at the end of last week and guess what ..... heard nothing !!!

The silence is deafening ! :p

RE: Sanyo Xacti E60 EX £103 delivered

RE: DDHE - 1914 -18

Well ! Well ! Well !

The Kaiser... sorry... DDHE have emailled me ! Apparently something wrong with their email service over the last few weeks !.... so they sent back the chasers I sent asking me to re-submit them if the problem had not been resolved in the meantime!!!

:/

Things can only get better !

RE: DDHE - 1914 -18

So who is worse ? The Kaiser or DDHE ???

DDHE - 1914 -18

Orderd 1914-18 boxset from DDHE early April - despite an email reassuring me that the goods would be in their warehouse and on its way to me in within 10 days - nothing has happened ! Infact can not login to my account either !!

Am I alone ?? Reckon not ! >:(

RE: Poundland SD\MMC card readers.

Newbury had 20 or so in today ...some blues still !

RE: Poundland SD\MMC card readers.

Blues and yellows in Swindon...were loads in Newbury a few days ago ! People are starting to realise they can be used as cheap Pen Drives using your old SD cards ! Nice quality product.... but do ensure you put the card in the right way or you may damage the contacts rendering the thing useless ! The label on the SD card faces the same way as the red Led and white lettering on the reader................. :B

RE: Poundland SD\MMC card readers.

These are excellent - and another forum has noted that they work with 4gb SD cards and work fast !

RE: Cheap Dell All In One Printers - from £22 delivered

maybe a distribution/logistics issue.... they had one at the depot near you or something ! I am not in a hurry... worth the wait , I think...

RE: Cheap Dell All In One Printers - from £22 delivered

Just had the same message :/

Oh well !

RE: Cheap Dell All In One Printers - from £22 delivered

Ive ordered a couple of 810s and purchased some Poundland refill kits for cyan, yellow, magenta (they are supposed to refill lexmark ink carts). How do you get to the ink containers ? Do you find the 810 produces ok stuff ? cheers

RE: Reminder: last day for the Dell laptop bargains

RE: Poundland Compatible Ink Carts

I have used print-rite compats for canon and they last as long as the originals. Although it is advisable to replace when the indicator says the cart is empty. There appears to be more ink in these Poundland ones than the Print-rite versions.

RE: Poundland Compatible Ink Carts

Had some good results from my canon pixma 4000 from the paper. Waiting to try out the ink carts ! A quid a time can not be bad - but its all down to the actual ink itself.

RE: Poundland Compatible Ink Carts

A4 (10 sheets) 4x 6 (40 sheets) 260 gms High Gloss . Find them in blue boxes with pic of palm tree on them. Compares well with some branded paper.

Tip: Paper is in polythene protective bag. Sometimes this leaves a film on the first sheet of photo paper which causes ink to blotch. If polythene appears to cling to the first sheet - don`t waste ink. You can detect this film when putting the first sheet close to light source. I think this first sheet has given some folk a bad impression of this product.

RE: Poundland Compatible Ink Carts

These carts appear to have the prism in the ink section which tells you when it is empty. Can`t be bad !

RE: Poundland Compatible Ink Carts

Poundland photo paper in the blue box is very good !

RE: Poundland Compatible Ink Carts

....they`ll end up at the 99p Store then ! bargainous.......

Poundland Compatible Ink Carts

Poundland have their own branded inkjet carts for Epson and canon. I am normally reluctant to experiment with compats which have not been recommended - but purchased a couple to look at the quality of build etc. I can not vouch for the ink (which is crucial !) but the build looks great. The only clue to the manufacturer says USA imported ink on my Pixma 4000 yellow cart. Beware that some ink can clog the printhead - so has anyone else tried these successfully ? I don`t need to replace yet . They appear to have more ink in them than the OEM versions too.

RE: Dalek battle packs £3.75 in sainsburys

I have two packs (has two different Who figures in each as well) and neither pack functions 100% ! Will be taking one pack back. Reading Amazon I appear to be not alone with these problems. Nice bit of plastic for the money, though.

RE: Poundland cheap glossy PHOTO PAPER.

Great paper. Gave some to my father-in-law on xmas day. Told him I no longer buy branded stuff. 5 minutes later he gave me a present of Lexmark photo paper ! ! bet that cost him too !
