RE: Another mispriced woolworths bargain?

I have still got my tesco order showing of 2 of the items estimated delivery 14 days at the £30 odd quid price, although now if you goto the site the price is now £109.00 so it was obviously a price error, one bit of good news though is I picked this quote off of there pricing policy bit :

Pricing and availability back to top

The grand total cost of your order includes the price of the item(s) selected and delivery.

If the price increases or decreases after you have placed your order but before dispatch (and debiting your credit card) the ordered price will be honoured.

An exception will be pre-release orders. At the time of your order an estimated retail price will be shown; however as items may be ordered as much as 3 months in advance we reserve the right to change the price, which may be an increase.

For details of delivery charges please see section `Delivery details` within `Help`.

The availability of each item is updated daily. It would be an unusual situation for any item to become out of stock and thus delay the dispatching of your order.

so if the order is cancelled we have a fighting chance to get product at original posted price

RE: Closed Amazon thread

I for one think that is more than honourable, and let me just say that Reestit has always posted very good bargains on this site and others and I personally have saved a fortune by following his suggestions, ie : the Woollies mobile phone saga, so the only thing I can say is "good on on you Reestit keep up the good work" :)

free 20 piece royal doulton dinner service.........£9.99 p+p

just saw this in the mail on sunday.

A beautiful 20-piece Doulton dinner service for every reader!
This is one of the most valuable and elegant free offers ever. We have a beautiful 20-piece Doulton dinner service for every reader to claim.
The dinner service has been designed exclusively for the Daily Mail and Royal Doulton by Bruce Oldfield, the British designer synonomous with elegance and style and will be available to buy from Royal Doulton next year for more than £100.

It is manufactured by Royal Doulton, one of the world`s most pre-eminent chinaware suppliers as part of the Doulton collection.

The dinner service consists of eight plates, four cereal/pudding bowls and four cups and saucers, and is in a beautiful duck-egg blue surrounded by luxurious gold. This dinner service is a wonderful asset to any home and something to be treasured for years to come.

How to claim your dinner service

We are offering the dinner service as four separate five-piece settings (incorporating two plates, a cereal/pudding bowl and a cup and saucer).

You can claim each five-piece setting simply by collecting 30 tokens - at least four tokens must be from the Mail on Sunday and sending £8.99 per setting for delivery.

Alternatively, if you wish, you can collect for all 20 pieces as long as you include 30 original tokens, with at least four from the Mail on Sunday, for each setting you wish to claim.

So if you`re claiming for the complete 20-piece dinner service, your application must include 120 tokens (16 from the Mail on Sunday) and a cheque for £9.99 to cover delivery. Please note that if you wish to claim two or three individual settings of five pieces, you must send £8.99 postage for EACH setting. So if you are ordering two five-piece settings in one application, your cheque must be for £17.98.

Tokens will be published every day in the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday until March 31, 2005. All applications must be received by April 30, 2005. Dispatch of the dinner services will start from January 1, 2005. An application form will be published later in the promotion. Please note that residents of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and Northern Ireland must add an additional £10 to each payment of the delivery costs.

Terms and Conditions

1. Maximum of four settings per application and a maximum of one complete 20-piece dinner service per person. Each setting incorporates two plates, a cereal/pudding bowl and a cup and saucer.

2. Each application must contain 30 tokens per setting claimed, including at least four tokens from the Mail on Sunday and £8.99 delivery costs for each separate setting, unless you are applying for all four settings in one application, in which case you must send £9.99 and 120 tokens (16 from the Mail on Sunday). All tokens must be originals from the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday.

3. Failure to claim by the time or in the manner specified will make any application invalid. No responsibility is accepted for applications damaged, lost or mislaid and proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery.

4. The Promotion is open to residents of the UK [the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man and Northern Ireland must add £10 on to all of the delivery charges] and participants must be aged 18 years or over.

5. The Editors of the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday reserve the right in their reasonable discretion to substitute dinner services and/or individual settings with alternative products of a similar value. The Editors further reserve the right to add to or waive any rules on reasonable notice and/or to cancel or amend the promotion or any part of it at any stage in the event of circumstances beyond ANL`s reasonable control. The decision of the Editors is final and no promotional correspondence will be entered into.

6. The delivery cost covers courier delivery, alternatively the dinner service can be collected without charge from our handling house, full details will be published later ANL accepts no liability for damages beyond its reasonable control (e.g. damage via third party couriers) Alternative products of a similar quality will be offered in the unlikely event of circumstances outside of the control of ANL. :)

RE: SKYPE.......calls to any UK mobile for 1 and 1/2p aminute at any time!

RE: SKYPE.......calls to any UK mobile for 1 and 1/2p aminute at any time!

thanks for that, just checked and calls to mobile are 12p per minute and 2p per minute at weekends on www.1899.co.uk,plus with Skype I like the convenience of doing it through my computer, thus listening to my wifes dulcid tones in 5.1 surround sound is pure heaven.............!

RE: SKYPE.......calls to any UK mobile for 1 and 1/2p aminute at any time!

yes I think I was being a bit hasty there, think it actually works out at around 15p per minute to a uk mobile at any time which is still pretty good, and to a landline it works out at 1p for 85 minutes or so :)

SKYPE.......calls to any UK mobile for 1 and 1/2p aminute at any time!

forgive me if this has been posted before, but have just downloaded this programme from here, which allows you to turn your computer into a phone and make free calls to anyone else who has this programme completley free of charge, which is good, but what I find amazing is you can also use it as a p.a.y.g account which allows you to ring any uk mobile for 1 and 1/2 p a minute at any time of day! as I work from home and ring mobiles a lot during the day I have worked out this will save me at least £300 a month! only thing you need is a headset or mike and away you go, I`ve been using it all day and have been impressed with the quality of audio which is crystal clear, all in all to me it`s an amazing bargain!

RE: Mico r311 clock problems!

Dear Rassilon

Mico r311 clock problems!

RE: NOKIA 7600 PAYG £29.99 + £15 TOP UP ON `3`

In reply to Talkshops post

that is not true, I`ve unlocked it with code generator, and used it with, 02,vodaphone and orange sim cards, did a test by driving about to different places and trying all sim cards and all worked fine, txt worked fine too, no dipping in and out of signal at all, obviously with a 2 g sim card in you cant use some of the features of the phone simply because a 2g network wont support them, so you dont need a harware reset using a griffin box or some equivelant,so save your money!

RE: Sainsburys Mico R311 DVD Recorder - Now £49.99 (And some Home Theatre also)

OvalNads

I purchased items 4 days ago so there is 5 months and 24 days guarantee with them, also in response to another post If you take back to Sainsbury and they havent got any refurbished models in stock, which they wont have what are they gonna do if you dont want your money back? I would suggest that a big company like sainsbury with a reputation to protect would probably offer you a new machine. :/

RE: Sainsburys Mico R311 DVD Recorder - Now £49.99 (And some Home Theatre also)

Dear Ovalnads,

That guy is me,Sainsburys told me that receipt was the guarantee for six months, so for example, are you telling me that If I bought that item for someone else as a gift and gave them the receipt and the item went wrong within six months Sainsburys wouldnt honour the guarantee and replace model?
