So the Mrs ask`s me to pop into town and buy her a new cookbook, upon entering the shop i spy Andy Gray behind the counter he explains it`s all he can do since his sexist comment scandal sacking and goes on to ask what it is i require,"do you have Mrs Beeton" i ask ?? "Only if she does`nt have my tea ready" is his reply ! :o

i love it mate i`m only upto 7.5t but as a self employed driver i get around £350 pw the guy i sub to is a bit skittish but i love being on the road and my (kinda) own boss

you gotta be cut out for driving with w***ers on the road etc and it can be a bit last minute (i`m not multi drop we do more last minute and part loads etc) thing but as i have no kids with me i like to get up early an go

anything i can help with just shout and i`ll do all i can :)

No one actually asks your old employer why you left so just tell them you were made redundant (trust me i did this last year when i was "sacked") or go straight to a employment agy and do a day or 2 work then say you left first job on premise of temping to perm as better oppertunities etc but contract suddenly ended

Dudes i have a few old ide hdd`s from some of my old pc`s what i need to know is can i get some form of plug in lead or holder so i can look at whats on them again ???

i have a vista system at the mo but think most of the old un`s are xp or older !! has to be as simple as poss please hoping for plug n play ;)

oh an doc it`s a no long term/permanent work thing as to my agency/multi company thing, you find that drivers are always in demand for sick cover etc and as long as you can take the risk it seems to be worth it ;)

Dudes i`m currently working as a lorry driver for a range of firms/agencies,after speaking to a few other folk i`ve been told i may be better off going self employed as i get very few PAYE benefits (holiday pay sick etc) but can earn enough whilst working to save for these things

any advice from you chaps/chicks on the subject would be good

Was on location (oohhh what a luvvie) on thursday and gotta say this looks like its gonna be a corker counted 300 men on horseback and fair few hundred supporting cast etc

got to see some of the charging scenes and looks fantastic

oh by the way my part ??? delivering the "blackout" cloth for gci etc ;)

"and the oscar for best delivery of blackout cloth to a movie set goes to ....................................some polish driver who did 36 hrs straight without a break" damn pipped again :x

Sorry big difference between the twits you mention on the scramblers and a kid (we are assuming him/her to be a kid here may be a 45 yr old woman !!) on the scooter

it`s all a bit daily mail for me "reporting" such minor things and yep i was once that "kid" on a ped and yep 9 times out of 10 i had no front or rear L plate doesnt mean i had no licence etc they fall off / get nicked / wash off after a while and yep as a biker i still ride up to cashpoints now :)

i hope that by the 99% stance of this thread most of you will report drivers who dont indicate/park wrongly/have illegal type number plates on their vehicles cos thats what your getting into here :( and dont get me started on the old/infirm/fat n lazy on those highly illegal electric carts when they are on the road without tax/mot/insurance

the police pick on all road users enough without this !!!
