Synopsis:
C.B. (Linda Manz) is a rebellious, small-town teenager experiencing the onset of adolescence whilst her father (Dennis Hopper) serves out a lengthy prison sentence. Her mother (Sharon Farrell) insecure and weak-willed, waitress in a diner and is having an affair with her boss. When C.B. discovers that mom is a junkie too, angry and disillusioned, she runs away: only agreeing to return once she learns of her father`s imminent parole and some hope of a normal family life. Dad`s homecoming however triggers a shocking awakening for C.B., propelling her into an ugly and incomprehensible adult world with ultimately shattering consequences.
