I ask for a bad guy and he gives me Michael Jackson? I can`t take it anymore!posted at 15:52
Warner Bros. Entertainment will release Michael Jackson: Moonwalker on 14th March 2005, although it will only be available exclusively through HMV. Originally released in 1988, this epic musical fantasy combines live concert footage with fantasy sequences and music video montages.
The centrepiece of Moonwalker is the music video for Smooth Criminal set at a seedy underworld nightclub whose influence can be seen in the work of a whole new generation of performers. Smooth Criminal is a mini-movie featuring Joe Pesci (Lethal Weapon, GoodFellas, Home Alone) as an evil drug lord intent on pushing drugs to kids. With amazing special effects, this segment features Michael morphing into a car as well as a spaceship in the climactic finale.
Released at the time of the BAD album, music is provided by this album, as well as back catalogue material from both the artist and The Jacksons. Also included is the Beatles track Come Together which didn’t see a CD release until the HIStory compilation.
Presented in a Full Screen 1.37:1 aspect ratio with a soundtrack in Dolby Digital 2.0, this release will retail at £15.99.
