How to convert your LG HT502TH player into a multi-region compatible machine



Note this hack also works on the LG HT752TH


To convert this player to Multi-Region playback

1. Press the Pause button on your remote control

2. Press the 1 button on your remote control

3. Press the 4 button on your remote control

4. Press the 7 button on your remote control

5. Press the 2 button on your remote control

6. The onscreen display should now show a list of numbers that resemble the following:

Prom Edit: 01 47

Prom Opt: 47 42 ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ??

?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ??

7. By pressing the Up arrow on your remote control, navigate to each entry marked above as ?? and change the value to 00 and press the Enter button on your remote control to confirm each change

8. Power off your DVD player

9. Power on your DVD player
