The hack listed below is non-destructive, and will not invalidate your players warranty. To perform the correct sequence of steps you will only need access to your players front panel and its remote control. Always make sure that the drive tray is empty before following the procedure listed below.

How to convert your Classic DVD-102 player into a multi-region compatible machine
To convert this player to Multi-Region
1.
Press the Setup button on your remote control
2.
Press the Next button on your remote control
3.
Press the Stop button on your remote control
4.
Press the Pause/Step button on your remote control
5.
Press the Prev button on your remote control
6.
Press the Next button on your remote control
7.
You should now be in a secret menu where you can change the region from 1 to 6, or Bypass for region free
To convert this player to Multi-Region if the above does not work
1.
Press the Setup button on your remote control
2.
Press the buttons Volume Up and Volume Down on your remote control, in order, one at a time
3.
The onscreen display should show "VER 1"
4.
Using the left and right cursor keys, change the region code to 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on, or press the buttons 2, 5 and 5 on your remote control, in order, one at a time for multi-region
