How to convert your Aiwa XD-DV170 player into a multi-region compatible machine
To convert this player to Multi-Region playback
1.
Press the power button on the player to turn the unit off
2.
Press and hold the Top Menu, Menu and OSD buttons on the unit until the word Factory appears on the LCD display
3.
Press the power button on the player to turn the unit off
4.
Insert any disc and power on the player
To convert this player to Multi-Region playback if the above does not work
1.
Press the power button on the player to turn the unit off
2.
Press and hold the Top Menu, Menu and OSD buttons on the unit until the word Factory appears on the LCD display
3.
Quickly press the power button on the player to turn the unit on NB: If the hack does not work, you need to perform this step much sooner after step 2
