Multi-Region Hacks for Domestic DVD Players

Whilst DVD Reviewer has made every effort to ensure that the information contained inside these pages is both accurate and up-to-date, we take NO responsibility and accept no liability for any damage caused from applying these hacks as laid down on these pages. Use them at your own risk!

Introduction
There are many players available on the market, and with a little help from some simple easy to follow methods, some of these can be altered without so much as opening the lid and invalidating the warranty, to become multi-region. For those who don't quite understand the jargon, this means you will be able to play discs purchased from not only the UK but also a far wider selection in the US and Asia too.

Choice is good, and if you have one of the players listed below, you are legally entitled to follow the links to a page which will describe how you may alter the settings of your DVD machine. After applying the correct 'multi-region hack', you are then perfectly legally entitled to import many discs from other countries and enjoy them in the comfort of your own home. Of course the exception is any extreme forms of pornography, and any footage that would be illegal to sell in this country, these will most likely be confiscated by customs.

Click the above button and visit our extensive selection of region hacks. These are changing all the time, and updates are always posted to our news pages so keep checking back if your player is missing!

We do our best to ensure all the above information is accurate, however if you believe this not to be the case please notify the and we will do our best to make any corrections necessary. However we regret that we cannot answer requests for assistance via email, please use the Hack Help Forum.

Also please do not ask us about DVD players, consoles, or in fact anything that isn't on the our list of hackable players. If it isn't there, we don't know about it, and we can't exactly create a hack for you, alas it doesn't work like that.

If you have emailed us in the past and we haven't replied, please don't get upset, we aren't trying to be rude. We are just very busy and if we did answer hack emails, we wouldn't have time to eat let alone work on improving our website. Sorry!
