Psion Wavefinder digital radio under £40

Just seen a post re this on a different newsgroup - I think PCWorld also did a cheapy on this a while ago. Available from the link below, but it seems the site is down for upgrades until Monday at 2pm.

For those who haven`t come across it before, it`s a digital radio that you run through your PC, so not the most portable of items, but maybe worth a pop at that price....

Discount code is DIGITAL1WAVE

The link to the Psion store may be offline right now, but the following link does work. http://www.psion.com/store/wavefinder/
Only one question- where did the code come from? I placed an order, (& while there, ordered some spare pointer pens for the Psion Revo I got from the BT shop last week...Checking this site is costing me a lot of dosh lately!) got the radio & pens for £45
Thank you loads RichardH

Saw the offer posted on uk.media.home-cinema - not usually one for bargain spots, but it just popped up.
Sorry about your wallet. ;)

As a final thing - just looked up a review of it, and the reviewer commented that the Psion software was a bit naff and resource hungry, and mentioned using a DAB player called Wavelite - might be worth a look.

Psions own software is Java based, it`s slow, buggy and extremly resource hungry (even on fast PC`s)

Wave Lite is good for older PCs.

DabBar is also a good alternative to Psions software.

THanks a lot . I,ve been looking for one of these--i unfortunately missed them at £45 at Dixons but pc world would have sent me one for the same price +£15 postage---i declined but was really glad to see your thread and ordered one yesterday. How long does it generally take to arrive and how come the code reduces the price by £50 ----is it legit or do the debit your account for the full ammount

Not received an email to tell me it`s on it`s way yet - ordered on Monday morning. They do say there is a delay in sending orders because of the demand.

Called them to chase my Revo addons order from last week - the bloke told me it can take 7-10 days for despatch!!
Are they living in the year 2002 or wot?

PS The items I ordered were showing as In Stock.
