Anyone know if there is another code? Are Dixons really going to knock them out that cheap?!

I bought one last week - works fine. However, I hadn't checked that I'm in a good area for BBC reception - which I'm not - Southampton is not planned for a while yet - I can only get 11 stations on 1 mux

I'm happy to sell on, if some one wants to buy at same price I paid - just under £40.

I did get a wavefinder from Dixons in Maidstone in the end. I believe it was the last one they had in stock.

Cheers Vic

Well, I got mine today, and it's all up and working, but the signal strength is a bit choppy - even though I'm supposed to be in a strong recention area (Hertfordshire). Don't really want to fork out an extra £30 for the external aerial unless it makes a big difference - any experiences (or alternatives)?

I installed my wavefinder yesterday evening and once it was positioned using the signal strenght meter it seems to work fine with the supplied antenna.

Got mine this am - last one in Gravesend's Dixons. As of last night at 8pm, Kent branches of Dixons had:
1 in Woolwich
2 in Bromley
2 in Canterbury
1 in Margate
and my one in Gravesend.

There are allegedly none left in London. Couldn't tell you outside Kent and London, but if you 'phone your local Dixons they can search on the whole area.

Working fine with XP. Have upgraded to v1.4 software to do timed recordings (the main reason I wanted one).

Cost about £42 - there was an extra 10% off the £47.

Regards,

Robb
