Does anyone know of a Multi Region Hack for Medion MD80146 Portable DVD Player. I`m unable to find this model on the web - just bought it from Kwiksave - £130 !!! with Car Case.

Press 1, 3, 6, 9, and 0 for code free
Close tray and turn Off

May work (from videohelp).

This is a 7" portable DVD with flip top DVD - will opening the flip top be the same as opening the tray ?

Haven`t tried playing VDC but the specification on the box states it will play :

DVD+R/RW, DVD-R-RW, CD-R/RW, VCD, SVCD, AUDIO-CD, PHOTO-CD, MP3

Looking through the hacks list there are tons for Medions so trawl through those.

Thnx for info on VCD, if I can find one at £130 over the weekend at Sommerfield/Kwik Save, I`ll pick one up.

Where (in the UK) did you buy this machine?, I`ve been trying all the Kwik-Saves & Somerfields around Birmingham without success.

I found it in my local Kwiksave in Matlock Derbyshire. It was advertised in a Christmas flier. I still need a hack....someone...help.

Does anyone know if you can play mp3`s burnt to DVD`s on this player?

I read somewhere else that it has anti shock, which will make it a pretty handy for my car!

Hi, did you manage to find a hack for the 80146 - I`ve just got one for Xmas.

It is obviously not the same as the Medion 42167 on the forum - the menu structure is different.
