Confirmed a couple of days ago. To celebrate the 21st anniversary of red Dwarf (My God, has it really been that long?) Doug naylor will be overseeing 4 special episodes of Red Dwarf - with the original cast reprising their roles..

one memory i`ll always treasure of my big brother (who passed away in 1995) :( is me and him watching Red Dwarf and (i think) followed by Have I got News for you on a friday night on BBC2. We`d watch it religiously.... :)
