Not just you mate. I had the same thing last night.
I put it down to tiredness to begin with, then realised that it was boredom. They need to release some new maps for it ASAP IMO. Even then I'm not sure that'll be enough.
But I think I'll be getting Bad Company 2 today and trying that out.

tbh, i've laid off it for bit over the last few days.
had a go yesterday evening for an hour or so and really enjoyed it. i do think new maps will help give it a bit more life, but a day or two off also helps imho.
miles, let me know if (and when) you get battlefield 2.... i'm hoping to get hold of it for next weekend. this weekend is a no-no as i'm currently at work (sshhhh!) and then looking for a car later today and tomorrow more than likely.

Not surprising really with the hours you guys have put in... Played a bit yesterday for the first time in a couple of weeks. Didn't do too bad but think I need to start varying my weapon. Still using a SCAR-21(?) as my main weapon - with a zoom on. Not bad but it's just not steady enough aim..
Anyone up for a bit of Spec Ops for a change?

No new maps on the way anymore.
Theres been a big bust up between Activision and the two main developers at Infinity Ward who were sacked this week and are being sued, and counter sueing Activision for unpaid royalties.
Apparently they wont be released until that has been through the court system now.
Although they might be quite quick with that as recently there was an article about how much money they had made from the map sales on the previous games which was in the hundreds of millions if memory serves me correctly and therefore the new strategy was to release even more as its a highly profitable market especially with the low development costs.
Anyway, back to the issue in hand I actually put on MW last night and really thought I cant be arsed with it at the moment although Ive played a few times in the week. Ive gone back to Uncharted now to finish it and after a little bit of struggling as I dont remember the controls frmo about seven months ago when I started it and havent played since, but hopefully should fly through that pretty quickly so I can get onto Uncharted two.
Obviously not helpful that Mw boredom has come at the same time as my headset In fairness Im sure forum games will still be fun anyway and thats primarily what it was bought for.

i've been fed up with it, but thats only cos i'm playing so bad lol... but it's been very busy at work, so being knackared/stressed is probably the reason for that lol
still hate the lobby system tho... especially when you click to join a game, then it changes the map in the last second to one i dont like grrrrrrrrrr.......
