seen an offer on a logitech bluetooth desktop on another forum and ordered it.the package was delivered qickly enough but it was a RF desktop not the bluetooth version they had advertised and it was 20 quid dearer than the same set on amazon so i decided to return it and this is where the hassle has begun.you cant simply ring them as they have NO PHONE NUMBER,you cant email them you have to use there "enotes"system which in there guestimation will take 2days for a response :o and i cant return the item untill they say.add to that my order which arrived yesterday still hasnt been updated on there website so i cant claim a free return because of there mistake.steer well clear people these guys are a joke if you have hassle with the products.

That`s not good to hear, especially as I just placed my first order with them yesterday. Luckily it was only an ethernet cable for £6-odd. Just reading their terms and that, it doesn`t sound as good as other firms I use. Having to get an RMA number for returns then pay for it yourself and wait until they refund it.

I`ve had two returns to Maplins this week due to a faulty pressure washer (and faulty replacement), and both times they`ve gave me an RMA number over the phone, and arranged for a courier to come and collect the parcel at their cost. That`s the way it should be (although I`m still peeved I`ve had two faulty ones, so have asked for a refund).

I also had cause to return something to Aria Technology last year, and their procedure was the same, replacement sent, and courier pick-up at their cost.

Not sure if I`ll use Ebuyer again, as heard a few stories about them.

Oh great. I just ordered a tv from them.
I was linked on here to them. Bugger. :(
So have I made a terrible mistake? :(

Ebuyer are pretty cheap for most things - you pay a premium for the better service of other sites unfortunately.

Ive had a few run ins with Ebuyer. Things do get sorted *eventually* but the e-notes system is a total f***ing groin ache.

And dont bother trying to ring then on a seperate number and try and get them to action things. It aint gonna happen.

That said they are cheap as most places which is why i still occasionally purchase from them (prefer dabs though).

So are Aria and Maplins though, but it sounds like their customer service is better, and not premium prices either.

I just ordered a keyboard, it was a basic one and only a pound, so no great loss, but what was pictured and what I received were totally different. How can they picture a nice looking black and silver keyboard, with no description, then send you a standard beige one? The picture says `for illustration purposes`, but surely they have to send something vaguely similar?

Re pictures of items, they have done that with tv`s too. But they are cheap, i bought a 160gig external drive from them earlier this year for £85 when they were £140 everywhere else. Haven`t ever had to use their customer services for anything yet, touch wood.

I found them ok. I use them quite a bit because they`re one of the cheapest online. You have to apply for a RMA number via their website. I had to return a faulty motherboard when I was building my new PC and once I had that you just return it with the number marked on the address form. It took about a week but thats not bad.

We had to return some faulty RAM about 3 months ago and they were pretty efficient then. We go the new stick within 10 days of contacting them, which isn`t bad considering they send the replacement product out after they receive the fault back for testing.

And they are very cheap for some computer components.
