Page 1 of Internet Problem

I`ll post this here just in case you guys have got any ideas:

Basically my main PC is having problems with t`internet. Everything is fine when it is first booted, but then all of a sudden it will just stop resolving internet pages and I get a "page cannot be contacted" error in Firefox (or timesout in IE).

It connects through a ADSL Router, but if I use the laptop/PSP they connect fine, and if I reboot the PC it works again. A bit annoying when a decide to take a break from gaming and surf a bit.

I know there`s a dns service of some kind on the PC, and I`m guessing it`s stopping causing this problem, but if anyone can add some insight as to why this might happen (and I`ll check when it happens next if this service has stopped).

Restarting the DNS Client service seems to sort it, not sure why it`s happening though.

Hi

Are you using norton anti virus and firewall?I had a problem with getting locked out and having to restart then i changed the setup to avg and the windows firewall and it not happened again in the last 2 weeks .It was happening several times an hour at one point.

Specified the Primary DNS as the router, and secondary as the isp dns, seems to have done the trick.
