philips Firmware updates (go back to an early firmware)

The firmware update is causing problems on my Philips 610 (changing to av for a second). I still have the first firmware update. Can i go back to this if i put the cd with the old firmware update on it. Thx

just installed BT1 21 firmware from philips,the fans stopped and the clock seems stable but i have removed my analogue ariel,i now only have sky running through the 610.philips sent me the disk within 4 days.
