Goto Asda as you get 3 yr guarantee for nothing on VCR`s. Took back a faulty Aiwa the other week (2yrs old ) got a credit note @ 1 store & bought a sanyo for £99.99 @ another one.

They had cheaper ones than that too.

Alistair, good recommendation, thanks. I had an AIWA which is only 18mths old and the audio output has given up the ghost. Of course it`s out of guarantee.

Woolworths where selling a LG NICAM, Hi-Fi VCR for £59.99 (reduced from £89.99) last week if you want a good cheepie it might be worth having a look.

my local tesco are doing a thomson nicam vcr for £59 usually good kit
