What code can control the AIWA 370 from the remote of the Receiver YAMAHA RX-V496RDS?

Have you tried emailing them at: ofni[at]ku.oc.awia.nodnol ?

Alternatively, you could try them all, assuming 10 seconds per code, that would take you 27 hours, 46 mins, and 30 seconds!

... maybe it would be better to contact them!

- Jimbo might know though ...

Nope, but if it has a "universal multi remote" on the amp (I think thats what you`re describing) then try "Stepping" through it`s library of codes.

There will be a way to do this detailed in the instruction manual!
(My Panny VCR does that, but still doesn`t have a code for the telly)

Otherwise, try contacting Yamaha (NOT Aiwa..they won`t comment on someone else`s equipment) they might have a way or an upgrade.

AIWA 370 (officially) ROCKS!!!!!

Yamaha publish a list of codes in the back of the manual, unfortunately they don`l list one for Aiwa DVD players, so I suspect they don`t know. It`s worth a call to them I suppose.

I can`t see how aiwa can object; the code is just som additional information for an item that has already been bought - again its worth an email or something whether anything comes of it or not.
