I don`t think it can be, very few machines have this facility these days.

Macrovision makes the VCR channel flicker, so when you record a DVD it creates Teasing unwatchable tapes.

I have just bought a Wharfdale 750s and put the hack in as instructed and it appeared to have worked.

I have tried to play two region 1 dvds (Scream 3 and The Green Mile) and they don`t appear to flow as they do with region 2. It is like the film is not running at the normal speed - it is very close but it is just a fraction out - but the sound quality is fine.

I was just wondering if anyone else is having this problem and knows how to sort it out.

Thanks Roxanne,

i`ve managed to sort it out - someone suggested i should change the output to different settings, i changed it to PAL-60 and that did the trick!
Hope this works for your mate.
