Page 1 of Minato G-1 or LG3350E ?

Help please
Looking for my first DVD player.
Are the minato`s worth £129 as our tesco have 10 left, is the quality good for a budget player.
Or would i be better off buying the LG3350E from curry`s at £249, is the hack for this model the same as the LG3350.
Do you need a player with a built in decoder if you don`t want to buy an AV amp.

avoid the minato its crap,doesnt like scratched disc`s and when i say scratched i could hardly see the scratches on the 2 disc`s of mine that it would not play.go for the lg3000e from tesco £170,and a piece of p*** to remote hack. avbuff

I have had a Minato G-1 for a month and for a £129.00 I think it is a good player. I like the way the zoom can make a wide screen movie larger yet the film is still a good to watch. Also the added plus of being able to play MP3 disks that have been made on a computer writer is handy too.

Go for the LG3350e, brilliant picture and sound, 5.1 out and its multi-region, what more could you ask for ?

What more could you ask for in the LG ?? A chip to disable macro as is available for the Minato I think
