Page 1 of how many hayfever tablets can you take in a day?

I am struggling with this hayfever business this year, far worse than ever before..
I am on 10mg of loratadine, but took two yesterday (=20mg...)
can i have 3? please!?

Although a chemist has told me I shouldn`t...I tend to take one loratadeine tablet...then `top-up` with benadryl plus.

I`ve done that for a few years, after I found that the Clarityn/loratadeine wasn`t enough. So far I don`t think I`ve suffered any ill-effects (no obvious ones anyway!).
I only do it on the days when its really bad...and normally only take one Benadryl in the morning (of the 3 a day type tablets) when its at its worst for me.

Have a chat with the chemist to see what they suggest though.

To abuse the dosage of medication your risking long term issues with your liver and kidneys. Have you tried Levocetririzine? I dont think its POM

Whoot, do you take tablets every day even when the weather is wet and horrible and you arent feeling the symptoms? I use ceterizine dihydrochloride tablets which work all day for me, but I keep taking them everyday regardless. I find if I forget to take them then I still get some runny nose and sneezing the next day. I guess it builds up a bit in your system so it becomes more effective.

have you tried buying some locally produced honey... take a good couple of teaspoons of this it seem sto work for friends of mine? something to do with local bees and the pollen they collect???
