I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

Looks like this should be good! Hope the promotion the BBC do for it is along the same lines as that for Life On Mars (period-type ads).

I never really liked Life on Mars, but was it as campy as this? I mean honestly, how many people actually dressed like that and had Delorean`s in the 80`s?

is it worth me saying that the De Lorean is only there as it`s a publicity shot?? They aren`t using it in the programme - it`s not Miami Vice!
