They are in the process of deciding whether to pass a motion to try and get a constitutional amendment made...

Now, don`t get me wrong, Arnie was pretty damn arrogant to do what he did. I don`t believe he did much more than grope a few women. Certainly something that I think is wrong, but it`s not all that in the grand scheme of things. The issue here is the guy used to take drugs when he was a body builder, yet he heads various anti-drug campaigns and initially denied (herein lies my problem, I detest liars) these claims. As such though, I think he`s an ideal candidate for President. :)

Having quite a lot of American friends, they do seem to think if the amendment is made, Arnie will be win any election he runs in. As an outsider looking in, Ray Gun did it, and I don`t think Arnie will be any worse. The thing about Arnie, he`s someone alot of people can identify with (having seen him in quite a few films, there is a familiarity), I guess that`s why he`s so popular.

Of course if they pass the constitutional amendment, we just might get rid of Blair as he heads off to pastures new to get the job he`s always wanted. So maybe its not a bad thing after all.
The thing is, do we want him in charge of the free world??

It does not matter which president gets in, they are all corrupt as the next, look at the film/documentary `Farenheight 9/11`, which was also shown on TV recently.

It just shows up the manipulation, coruption, greed, hidden & not so hidden agendas of these leaders at the top.

At least Schwarzenegger is a good deal more intelligent than the incumbent president - now he really is a `dumbass`.

Or maybe he`s just meant to look like a dumbass :p

Approximately 39,000 people shot and killed each and every year and what do they do , f*** all. "Oh it is our constitutional right etc to bear arms".
So they are not willing to legislate or toughen up the gun laws because of their constitutional "rights" but they are willing to amend the constitution to allow a foreign national to become president.
As I said, some f***in country.

Everyone knows the election for US Presidency is the biggest popularity contest in the world. It doesn`t really matter who wins. The elected president merely wins the privelidge to be the official TV spokesperson for four years, while a bunch of people who you`ll never see make all of the decisions.

Just imagine how much worse things could be if Bush was actually making the decisions!

At least Arnie has some experience in front of the camera!
