While I agree Heskey is a complete waste of space, how come noone is criticising Gerrard? His mistake was by far the worst!

Like I said, I also think that Heskey is a waste of space. But he wasn`t the most guilty party yesterday. That honour fell to the mighty Gerrard! Closely followed by Beckham! Closely followed by James!

Stevey Gerrard is far and away England`s best player.

Although Heskey is a waste of space, you gotta ultimately blame Sven who obviously thought he would do a better job than Rooney was doing....what a plonker!

Gerrard may be englands best midfielder, but there is no way he can ever justify passing a ball from near the half way line to Thierry Henry in the England penalty box, what a great pass. I mean even Zidane would have been proud of that pass. Just what was he thinking, with a few minutes to go? Heskey obviously was atleast trying to get the ball and fouled the player by mistake, it happens, but what Gerrard did was just crazy. Whats all this David James business? Why send him home? He did alright yesterday and would have gotten a clean sheet were it not for an unstoppable free kick and a penalty. He did look solid all throughout and it took something extra special from zidane to beat him
