Page 1 of The New Deeper Bambi

Well I watched the film "Grave Of The Fireflys" it is incredibly touching and immensly deep for an animation and I was wondering did this brilliant piece of animation by Miyazaki touched anyone else

I know it truely is sad and don`t think im strange but I feel the fact it is animation is more sad seeing as if it was actors you know they are acting but because the animation isn`t acting its more like they are real people and you have to think about what happened to people in real life all over the world due to the nazis being racist and the americans taken it too far by nukeing Hiroshima and stuff I feel wars are just so pointless

Oooh I bought a box set of studio Ghibli films, just because I saw "Laputa-castle in the sky" was on it (I remember seeing this film when I was younger and it always haunted me, because I never saw the ending) so all the other 4 films included were just a bonus. I watched Grave of the Fireflies once & I can`t find the words to describe it...I wouldn`t dumb it down by calling it a cartoon...but it was just brilliant -if anyone could get their hands on any Studio Ghibli films, (esp Spirited Away) - watch them...you won`t be disappointed!!! :) (Except with Totoro...slightly overhyped!)

First Ghibli film I ever saw - I was doing homework at a friend`s house about 10/11 years ago and her big brother shouted us downstairs saying "Come and see this cool cartoon - there`s a bus that`s a cat!" We were like *WTF* but we watched it again the day after. I love it, I don`t think it`s too hyped.

I`ve only seen "Princess Mononoke, Spireted Away and Grave Of The Fireflys" and yes even though they are animation they show alot of japanese fokelaw and background involving a lot more depth and hidden meaning than you would think

I love the way the film is named on a very small element of the film but is good seeing as it does relate due to all the graves
