BTTF III - Replacement Discs

Hi,

Will I need to contact Universal UK to arrange a replacement disc for the third installment of Back to the Future trilogy or are they [Universal] sending out discs to everyone who contacted them regarding the mis-framing cock-up made on parts 2 and 3 ?

The original plan (according to the guy I spoke to at Universal) was they were just going to replace the complete boxset but all they`ve done is send out discs 2 & 3!

The whole thing`s been a total PR disaster!

I think the question is;

If you have received your replacement discs for 2&3 are Iniversal automatically going to send another replacement disc for BTTF3 because of the dark picture on the replacement disc compared to the original mis-framed version.

OK, I called them up today, and Universal say...

The BTTF 3 disc will be remastered and resubmitted for certification.
Anyone who has already received the replacement discs will have their details kept on file.

When the new BTTF3 version 3 has been finalised, the discs will automatically be sent to their addresses. You won`t have to do anything :)

The bad news is that it will be at least until September before the discs are ready. :(

The Universal Number is 08705 900 909, if you wish to find out for yourselves.

NOTE: this only applies to people who have sent off for the replacement discs.
