Note that Season 3 was never released in HD, just the first two seasons. You`ll have to wait for the whole thing to come out on Blu-ray before you`ll be able to own it in Hi-Def.

Series 2 was never released - I believe Toshiba were funding the remastering, so when Blu-Ray won it never came out. May be a long while until come out on Blu-Ray?

Good price for the HD-DVDs - I paid £50 a few months back - great quality - and opening theme music sends shivers down my spine :x

Walmart in Canada had Harry Potters HD-DVD`s & other films including the ST movies at 2 for £5 ($10C).

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

When fishermen catch dolphin-friendly tuna, how do they know which tuna are being friendly to dolphins?

Got mine yesterday. Very nice if a little hard to get out of the box!!

I won`t deny that I`m a little disappointed that the picture is in 4:3 but I should`ve expected that, my bad.

I look forward to watching them with my missus who has only ever seen a couple of episodes in her life. She had a very sheltered upbringing!

So, thanks for the post :)

well worth it Si and they are very well done without being too out of place, i was worried when i heard they were tinkering with it but the space shots especially look like they were done yesterday (which isnt far from the truth) and the internal shots with screens etc are really nicely done to fit in with the series. I was a bit worried they would replace monsters with cgi etc but they have left them alone and really just tweaked the backgrounds :)
