How can 640x480 be 1080i? Anything less than 800x600 for standard definition will be too soft an image, 500 ANSI lumens will also require such a dark room you may as well not bother.

So not a bargain imho.

Not very bright but certainly a low price point.
Hopeless for presentations etc. from a PC as it seems to only 640 x 480 in PC graphics mode.
Suggest you have a good web search for reviews about it.

Yeah this isn`t a full HD projector but it will accept a HD signal (Via Component) and yeah it won`t look as good as a HD TV at 720p or 1080p but I had the INFOCUS X1 projector and fed SKY HD to it and even at 800 x 600 it was a vast improvement over standard DVD.

480 or 576p are still HD formats...just not advertised as much a 720p or 1080p.

Here`s a video of the projector in use! Looks good to me for the price!
