Locally,
Aberdeen Tesco Extra have none and can get none. Inverurie have about a dozen, but you`ll have to collect it yourself as Aberdeen will not allow internal stock transfers "at this time of year".

Nationally,
tesco.com no longer stock them.

This short stockfall (and transfer policy) may become commonplace.

Moral
If you want one, grab it when you see it.

(A cheapskate who can`t afford to replace his ancient, scart-less second TV, so needs the macrovision-free facility to daisy-chain through the VCR).

Peterborough Extra are also out of stock but the electrical manager says there are more coming but no sure when .

I knew i should of got one when i saw one instead of my Schneider(its still good but no macro off :( )

I have been looking for this DVD player ever since there was a handset multiregion hack for it.

I had looked in the Tesco in Aberdeen, but they did not have any, with none coming in too.

I must admit, I never thought of the Inverurie store having DVD players.

Anyway, I went up and bought one today, used the handset hack and bingo....it works perfectly. The picture and sound is of the same quality as other much more expensive players that I have bought.

My DVD player search is over. Thanks also to those talented people who looked and eventually found this handset hack.

This probably aint going to be any good to you unless you really want to travel, But the Wrexham store has these machines by the truck load.

Twickenham has some and Hayes. It`s no longer limited to the Extra stores.

I have bought one of these for my dad who also bought one for himself, therefore I have a new one which has only been out of the box to be checked. I still have the receipt from Tesco so i am about to return it. If someone wants to pay the postage from Blackpool you can have it for the same price which was 99.99. Please let me know asap.

just picked mine this morning from tesco`s at BARKINGSIDE.
Went there on Monday evening and guess what there was a full
pallet of the dansai dvd, did not buy then thinking theres lot there.
This morning went there and there was only about10 left.
