What happens after 3 months - Do you pay for calls then? if yes, then what are the rates?

Thanks to OP.

I signed up for this too and got the headset.

My understanding is that after the 3 months it reverts to standard call charges (BT together or whatever it`s called).

I think i`ll give skype a try at that point

Cheers
Steve

The new beta version of Yahoo messenger has free PC to PC calls ..so it is similar to Skype..BT Communicator is only for calls to phone lines(land/mobiles)...Skype also charges for these calls..on a Paypal system

You need a Yahoo or BT Internet username and have to be at least be paying BT for line rental/Together option 1

After 3 months the BT Comm calls are chargable on your BT phone bill at Together Rates eg 5p for up to hour in evenings etc

Can you use it in conjunction with 18866 and 1899? as you would an ordinary bt line?
i.e. place the above numbers infront of your bt landline number? This way you could in theory call USA and it`ll cost only connection of 3p (via 1899) instead of bt`s connection and pence per min rate.
Thanks
Niteowl

Just registered and can`t find out how to get the free headsets but got this message instead:

:( Does that mean no headsets?

All calls are routed through BT so I doubt that prefix codes work........

As for headsets...I didn`t enter any codes at sign up .....just used the link in first post above at start of sign up

My headset just arrived in the post yesterday :) I didn`t need to do anything to get it, they just sent it, I didn`t even get a confirmation email. I think the code references are to do with a previous offer.

The headset ain`t bad for a free one, you just plug it into the mic and headphone socket of your PC

I signed up on Wed 15 June around 8pm, no confirmation about free headsets at the time - but received them on Thu 23 June.
