OK, got this via a pal over at Currys (yeah, those guys everyone loves to hate! Lol)

Anyways, JVC 16 AWG speaker cables, in a pack, with some wierd straight connectors, and a crimping tool, and a wee electricians type screwdriver, was £21.97, then £16 or summat....now the princely sum of:

£1.97 :D

I got three packs today, so thats my surround and front speakers getting the cabling they deserve, and there`s roughly 16m of cable in the box.

They are in either a blue box with yellow hanging bit at the top, or a green box if it`s the later design.
That store also had shedloads of 5m JVC Gold plated 21 pin scarts in too, might be ideal for someone with a Plasma/LCD wall install if the tv has inbuilt tuner for £9.97 each.

Oh God, there`s something wrong with me as I really like our local Currys. I`ve always found them knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help. E.g. we had a bitch of a house move last year which meant that a shed load of stuff we bought from them couldn`t be delivered for three months. They kept everything in storage for us without a murmur and started the guarantees running from the date of delivery not purchase.
