As I am now in the market for a replacement for my much loved, but ancient, Toshiba SD2109 B I am intrigued by this posting! Can someone elaborate on why the Pioneer DV575A Multiregion is such a good player and therefore a good buy at this price? :D

Ordered one myself, curious to have a look.

£149 most places inc. delivery, some better than others.

Will report back on how good (or bad, I hope not) it is when it arrives.

If only everything was half price at Woolies !

The Pioneer 370 (baby brother to this) has the best layer change I`ve ever come across. Pic quality is also excellent, and the prog scan output is also good.

Just bought one of these babies and I am absolutely thrilled to bits with it. I`d also recently bought a Panny 37" plasma and needed a prog scan DVD player. The picture and sound are both excellent. It makes a hell of a difference from my 4yr old Hitachi 305.

Cost me £149.99 from AV Land (free delivery (next day)). £65 for QED component leads.

Pete
