Sky Plus Problems with pause /rewind live feed

Ok

I have been on sky plus come just over a year, but over the past few months i have been really irrated with a problem rewinding live feed, i do this and the picture stops and the system hangs until you press the sky button on your remote thereafter live feed continues.
I have reported this to Sky 3 times they say its a known problem and have recently sent out a remote update (recognisable by the change in your sky planner background colour) to remedy this problem but it doesnt seem to work. They have repeatedly said that a new update will be released but i am loosing patiance with them as it is now coming into its third month. I have phoned an threatened to cancel my contract if this is not resolved.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and is so what responses are you getting?, it seems to be a global problem.

Looking for a digital camcorder less than £300 any recommendations

Hi

In the market for a digital camcorder, had my last one a sony for around 7 years, so havent been up to scratch on the current technology, looking for something that has the best features for that price one that can be easily transferred to a computer or a dvd burner.

Aldi SPecial buys from 17th March

Some good Computer Stuff, including a 17" TFT for £150, plus wireless keyboard and mouse at £15.00, the one ive got my eye on is the fast dvd burner gizmo for £25, just what i wanted something to convert my videos to dvd.

www.aldi.co.uk then look at special buys

P.S Their computer deals are back on again looks like a pretty good spec too for £700.

Lodos 20" TV for £69.99

Offer limited whilst stocks last at Sainsbury`s
http://www.sainsbury.co.uk/offers/

I dunno how good it is but the price is worth a look into !!

RE: 6Mp Digital Camera - Under £200

www.empire-direct.co.uk - try searching for the Olympus C60Z 6.1 Mp Camera also under £200 delivered, and is a more recognised make. Same size 1.8"LCD plus comes with a 32MB XD Card, USB 2.0, Rechargeable battery, remote control, AV Cable.

I would go for this on make alone.

RE: simpsons dvd for 99p

Ive joined the club too, query though if it is out of stock then why when you look at your order status does it say preordered, which implies that the dvd has yet to be released. Something is not right, ahh well wait and see i suppose.

RE: G1 Sky Package Is Back

The movie channels 2 4 6 8 are bloody useless never mind the no ending repeats of films like chain reaction, but what about the prime time movies that really should be tv movies. Plus the all the good premiers happen on the other channels, these even numbered channels are for rubbish.

Has anyone asked the question to sky about just getting the odd numbered channels ??

and i dont getthe disney channels either !!!!

RE: Can anyone remember this film?

harry in your pocket James Coburn the ultimate pick pocket master gets caught in the end saving his apprectice, one of the few films that stuck in my mind from my childhood.

gr8 Movie always waiting to see when this gets repeated on tv. Anyone else notice that gr8 movies like these which used to be prime time films have been pushed to the early hours of the morning like after 12:00am, shame really classic movies....

RE: Sky+ £99 free install.

so is this for new subscribers or does this apply to existing sunscribers

RE: Matrix Boxset details & pics

I wouldnt pay to see the sequels the first movie is by far the best and what fiollows in the next 2 movies could have been added in an extra hour at the end of the first

RE: can anyone recommend.................

try global divx player or BSplayer they might help, I think Global divx searches for the correct codes for u if u havent got them installed, also the kazaa codec pack willcover all the codec needed, i presume u r talking about divx encoded AVI FILES, just searcg on google for those players i recommeded.

RE: The Bourne Supremacy - Verdicts?

thought he camera work was shoddy, gave me a headache when i left the cinema all that hand held camera type filming, teh action was good but cause of the camera work didnt get to see it clearly, RONIN is a prime example of good camera work based on similar type of action and that included a car chase too a better one that that in the Bourne film.
Also for me it didnt have enuff Spy type stuff as it it did in the first movie, u know how those spys would use special skills and knowledge not too manygadgets either

RE: Aldi.........Tevion wireless video/audio sender

any recommendations of where to put it on a sky+ digibox cause i sure as hell cant get it to work, placing 1 cm apart from the ir sensor on the Digibox, ive tried all positions, i just keeping gettinga fuzzynes everytime i press a key on the remote on teh recever connected tv, has anyone ahd this before..should i carry on and perservere

RE: Aldi.........Tevion wireless video/audio sender

I just bought this hoping it would solve my problem of taking my Sky+ to my bedroom and use the remote controll, i get picture and sound but no remkote control even when the IR diode is alogned and 1cm from the sky+IR receiver, as advised by the handbook. Every time i use my remote upstairs via the sender it just fuzzes when i press a key, otherwise the picture and sound are great...

Anyone any ideas ????

Dissappointed >:(

RE: Wooden garden Furniture half price Tesco

The on line price for this is showing up as £29.99 so is this the half price cost or is £15.00 the cost, plus no indication that the price is reduced at all

Indiana Jones Trilogy Box Set £24.99

MVC.CO.UK - On Line price

Te box set is the widescreen edition add £1.00 delivery still a bargain i think at £25.99, the in store price for this in the mvc sales is £29.99, still cheaper than play and dvd.co.uk, i havent checked any of the aussie sites cause i dont use them.

RE: Donnie Darko (Film only) £4.99 at amazon.co.uk

Need a new Contract Mobile phone any recommendations

I was looking at
1) Panasonic x70 (Upgrade to the GD87)

2) Nokia 6600 - looks kool - My Chioce

3) Orange SPV e200 (The next release to the bug ridden e100)

Anyone know anywhere where i can either upgrade to these handsets or start a new contract and get the handset cheap or even free with a reasonable monthly tariff.Atr present the best i can do is to get onto a monthly £45 cross network 400 mins on orange monthly, then downgrade to a £20 tarriff after the first four months, this way i get the handset for free ie just pay the montly which comes to £180 for the handset.

Id prefer around £25 a month pushing it to £30.

Thanks

Ive tried carphone warehouse, the link, and a few other net sites too.

Good Deal with blank 80 mins cdr`s

Imation 3*10 for £9.99 thats 30 cdr`s for £10, is that a good deal ??
Or
Maxwell buy one box get the other free box of 10 for £6.99.

Just thought id let you know, i know there are probably better deals out ther on the net but for an in store option i think these r ok.

Ok forgot to mention at Morrisons
