RE: since when did a price search site charge for membership?

I did exactly the same thing on the 14th. There`s TrollyDolly and mysupermarket - but that`s all I know.

RE: Post Office Insurance - £50 cashback.

Did you go via quidco for another £16.50?

Get a quote from confused.com and then look at the cashback (up to £80) offered through quidco

RE: Cheap Epson Ink

Nice one. good to see them back.

RE: Acer N35 Lite PDA 266MHz SatNav £196.86 + del

IIRC They had some offer prices on Sat Nav at staples that finished on something like 13th December. I was quite surprised to see next to nothing on the staples website - they had lots of gps / pda in store.

BTW - Comet do the full version for £229.99 online (£249.99 instore).

As for the mio 168 - it`s been around for a while now........ DABs seem to have cleared theirs out - at £169.99 - but I missed those :( - perhaps others will follow.

RE: Acer N35 Lite PDA 266MHz SatNav £196.86 + del

I`ve been looking at both of these recently..... Comet do indeed have them at £199.99 (with free standard delivery) & Quidco offers 3.5% cashback btw. (256 Mb SD card with Destinator 3)

Note that this is the *Lite* version of the N35. As far as I can tell that means no AC Mains charger (and I need one). Comet also mentioned 2D mapping instead of 3D but I`m not convinced.

If you want to be able to pick up the Mio 168 (inc. software) then Staples have them for £199.99. (it comes with car + mains charger as well as an external aerial which may be useful for some). It also has a 128 Mb SD card (with the mapping s/w).

After a day of looking on the web (as I need one ASAP) I found one place doing the Mio 168 with NO software & NO SD card - for about £186 delivered. I plumped for one off ebay (no SD, no s/w) so I could use a 10% off paypal code (£192.99 - £13.89 [$25 max]) including p&p.

You can get a 1 Gb SD card on ebay for £29.98 delivered at the moment. (though both these may or may not take some 1 Gb SD cards). Tom Tom & mp3s here I come :)

RE: Sony W800i £179 pay as you go

Showing as Out of stock now :(

Live 8 DVD - £21.99

I`ve done a bit of looking around for this since it seems to range in price from £39.99 (wh smiths) to £25.99 at CD-WOW (where "smartsave" no longer works)....cheapest I have found (courtesy of rpoints forum) is at www.screamingdvd.com (or www.screamingcd.com). £21.99 inc p&p

I`m not related to them in any way....tbh I have never heard of them before now.

It`s a R0 and I read somewhere (an ebay review I think) it`s NTSC. Hope it helps someone.

RE: Free RIZLA Tin ( Shhhhhhhhh )

"Thank you for your interest in taking part in our product survey. The survey is now closed, but please feel free to visit our website and have a look around. "

Boooooo :(

RE: Netgear DG834T 108mbps Wireless Router + USB2.0 Adaptor for £89.99

Grrrrrrr. This offer is also on MSE & now HUKD as well.... I see this scrote has sold a few.

If I had an ebay account that wasn`t instantly recognisable I`d put up the info for free (sale for 1p - do not buy) on a very similar advert!

RE: Freeview box £ 29.92 at Tesco

Currys advertised yesterday a box from "inverto" for £27.99. Twin SCART sockets & a SCART cable included.

RE: Bargain for Pizza Lovers from Famous Moes

No stores local to me.......and I`m on the south coast :( Thanks anyway.

For another good offer on pizza, from Papa Johns / Perfect Pizza check out the thread at MSE : http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=71543&highlight=tabasco

Basically, free pizza & 4 toppings when you buy a £1.14 bottle of tobasco sauce (collection only).

RE: 99p delivery weekend at SVP

It`s always on over £30 IIRC - you can select teh 99p option but you will be should (later) be told to add to the order or you will pay more p&p - seems like you were lucky.

RE: £5.00 Play.Com / Daily Star offer a con?

I forgot all about this until late in the day, applied, and have had a code. Weird.

svp - 99p shipping weekend

You know the rest, I hope :)

Been waiting for this.

RE: full set of r200/r300 carts inc p&p £5.99

According to an earlier email form diskdepot these cheap inks are also made by IMjet - some different style packaging too because people are mimicking the IMjet yellow ones.

To get the free (1p) delivery you need to order some of these inks too. haven`t gone for any myslef as I stocked up large style when they had an offer on IMjets.

RE: Free £25 Bet - This is Good

I found the buy / sell confusing too so I switched the odds (prices) to decimal - which was more familiar.

evens (1/1) = 2.00
2/1 = 3.00
3/1 = 4.00
3/2 = 2.50
etc. (a / b) + 1

Lost my £25 stake on a draw in the Villa match.......hey ho.

RE: Cheap blank dvds from here

Have seen this before at http://www.hotukdeals.com/PNphpBB2-viewtopic-t4733-sid486b825e08e921f8005398a3f602f617.phtml

- where someone claims their total was actually higher with this code.

From my experience (although I`ve never used it) It seems to make *some* things a fraction cheaper.

RE: free sim wit 10.00pound credit on it.. great hey.

I spotted this on MSE earlier and will be doing it myself (x 6) later as I had one of the SIM cards courtesy of the original post. It was for my girlfriend when she visits.... except we found out that the texts from her friends in Russia don`t reach her. (no such problem on orange).

UK mobile phone customers can donate £1.50 to the DEC (Tsunami) Appeal by texting DONATE to 83321

see : http://www.asiaearthquake.redcross.org.uk/tsappeal/appeal.asp

A good way to use the free credit if you don`t need it.

RE: Free Vodafone sim (1 per household)

Yep - URL shennagans - try again with the editted link

RE: BA: (WSL) FREE 7600 + 12 months FREE line rental!!!

Watch o2......... they are absolute w*****s for doing this. I`ve seen it done to many people. Just because they can`t sort out their own admin they go ballsing stuff up for customers.

RE: TomTom GPS.Cheapest????

You could try currys with the 10% discount code. 5% rebate if you have an egg card too.

RE: Until Midnight: 19% off at Currys (when spending => £199) for Egg cardholders

Yeah - I think an "Oh" was missing :). I only used to get 7.5% discount on brown goods - dunnno what it is now but imagine it`s not much.

Shame the site was kicking your friend off though.... like you say - it`ll be interesting to see if egg run this again in December.
