Football Statistics, anyone know of any sites ??

I don`t know if anyone can help me with this, but, i used to use a site called "esportsdata.com" to gather info on english football matches from the 40`s 50`s & 60`s, i.e. scores and cup rounds etc. this site has recently vanished. Does anyone know of any other sites that offer the same info, i`ve been searching but with no real luck.

Thanks

Rob :)

RE: Free Wii Remote Jacket From Nintendo!

thanks for this, just ordered mine :D

RE: What is the best antivirus software out there?

AVG anti-virus, Zonealarm Free, then also run Spybot once a week or so. :)

RE: ringtones

http://www.zedge.net

not a bad site to start with, free to register and use, can download to your phone or PC, recommend downloading to the PC and using bluetooth or cable to transfer to your phone. This makes it totally free :)

Or you could just send your fav mp3`s to your phone the same way without even usin a web site.

Boots 90% off

In our local high street Boots store they are giving a massive 90% off the ticket price on quite a few items i.e. if the ticket price is £10, you only pay £1. Be careful though this offer doesnt apply to "clearance" ticket prices. The offers and conditions are clearly displayed tho on the shelves, some excellent bargains to be had :)

RE: The Worst Pain Ever...

I thought they could just pulverise these suckers with a non-invasive procedure nowadays?

im sure there is a procedure where they use sound waves to break up the stone :)
its if the NHS has the funding available to carry out these "minor" procedures tho :/

RE: Possible to connect dvd player to tv without scart?

scart leads with rca connections on the other end are very easy to find, assuming your friends tv has rca connections :/

edit: just found this on SVP, out of stock tho :(

RE: Trading standards !!!

when looking for some replacement ink carts for the works printer i ended up in Curry`s Digital, just to see what they were charging, to my surprise they were only £7, better than anywhere else so i bought one, went back a week later and they were £9, just out of curiosity checked again this week and they were back at £7, the out of town store seems to be doing the same thing, why ??, i obviously now wait until they are at £7 and get one then, the prices seem to change about every 5 to 7 days :D

RE: Anyone else forced to work today?

tip: don`t work in the "care" sector if you want s**t loads of money for working easter, sure as hell doesn`t help if your manager decides to p**s off and not do his share either >:(

RE: What happens when you hit download limit with Rapidshare premium account?

very easy to get carried away and download too much to start with, it`s a bit like when you first get sky movies and the first month or so its the best thing ever, you soon run out of decent stuff to get tho :/

RE: Help with Rapidshare

forumw.org is a good place to start :)

RE: What happens when you hit download limit with Rapidshare premium account?

just give it a couple of days, best if you try not to exceed 5gig a day and it should be ok :)

RE: AOL Now Have A Fair Use Policy!!

Been on AOL a while now, and have only just noticed recently that if i try to download after 6pm ish my speed goes way down, i usually try to keep my download times to thru the night or in the mornings and early afternoon, these seem to be the optimal times.
Personally I don`t think i have ever got the speeds they brag about giving you, but i don`t think i am the only one with this problem and it`s not just an issue with AOL. :/

RE: converting avi to dvd

for less than £30 you can get this

http://svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=2087

no need to convert then, and you can slap 5 or 6 movies on a dvd :)

or

for just over £30 you could get this

http://svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=1658

and run the files straight from a pen drive, saving quite a bit on buying dvd`s :)

RE: Is there a program that will compress mp3`s a bit further?

freerip is good for rippin to mp3, free and very easy to use, you can choose the bit rate you want to encode at. :)

RE: mpeg conversion help needed

have you tried looking on cnet.com and seeing if they have any free stuff on there, i managed to find this one, under 600k in size and totally free with no limitations.

http://www.download.com/AVIMerIn/3000-2194_4-10636046.html?tag=tab_pub

can`t say how good or bad it is as i`ve never used it.

hope it`s of help :)

RE: Can`t delete a folder

Might be worth trying Unlocker.

RE: Can`t delete a folder

RE: Can`t delete a folder

looks like i`m just gonna have to live with it

Cheers anyway :)

Can`t delete a folder

has anyone come across this problem, it`s minor (i think) but damned annoying,
i created a folder on my desktop ages ago, to store torrent links etc, decided yesterday to delete it, won`t let me tho >:(
comes up with the following message....
cannot delete CAAVAZQT.: Cannot find the specified file

any ideas ??

Thanks :/

RE: Tesco - Very cheap DVD-R s

Cheap they may be, but I wouldn`t touch supermarket branded DVD`s with a sh*tty stick!

nicely put :D

think i`ll stick to my datawrite`s :)

RE: Tesco - Very cheap DVD-R s

not on offer at my tesco, still £1 for 3 :/

RE: downloading movies

RE: Internet goes soooo slow when downloading stuff

You`d get over 200 on Usenet.

are you uploading as well with this ??

RE: Internet goes soooo slow when downloading stuff

how come- is it alot better?

a lot faster because you are only downloading and not uploading anything, i only have a 2mb broadband connection but i`ve been hitting 150/160 download speeds.

RE: Please recommend a budget DVD player which can play MPG & AVI files

http://svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=1658

yeah thats the one, it plays DivX,Mpeg4,Avi no problem at all, the unit is cheap in construction, but i`ve had no problems with it, as for the problem with subtitles, there is a button on the remote to switch them off, so i cant see why anyone has a problem with that :/
i`ve just ordered another one for the other room so the kids can use it as well :)

RE: Internet goes soooo slow when downloading stuff

since discovering rapidshare i`ve not used utorrent since :)

RE: Please recommend a budget DVD player which can play MPG & AVI files

i can really recommend the Kazuki with USB port on SVP, it`s selling for only £29.99 quid now, and P&P is 99p this weekend on orders over £30, just get something else for a couple of quid to make up the difference. It plays just about everything and with the USB you can watch movies etc from a pen drive without having to burn any disc`s :D

RE: Why is this man still alive?

why on earth does society tollerate scum like this, t**ts like that get chance after chance.
Think it`s because too many do gooders in their nice safe secure & protected lives are having too much say on what decent people have to endure and put up with. >:(

RE: Superdrug DVD Player for £9.99

blimey thats cheap, bet the guy i saw buying 10 dvd players from argos for £17 each will be sick now :D
