RE: Fujitsu Laptop Broken Screen - Recommedation Required

I will comment on here when I have had it done.

Fujitsu Laptop Broken Screen - Recommedation Required

My daughter has damaged the screen on a 3 month old Fujitsu Siemens Model Amilo Li 1705.
Can anyone recommend any companies please to replace the screen.
I have a quote from a company in London of £160 but would prefer a company someone has used and has some trust in.
PCWorld quote me £400 the laptop cost £425, I did laugh.

Thanks

RE: How Do I Get My Web Browser Allow .Com Sites

Hi All
Thanks for all your views, I have tried all the above with no success. I logged on at work today and no problems at all, so all it can be is BT. I will try and call them and will feedback what they have to say, if anything.

RE: How Do I Get My Web Browser Allow .Com Sites

Does that mean I can`t do anything about the site redirecting my request?

How Do I Get My Web Browser Allow .Com Sites

Hi
I am currently with BT Total Broadband and with some .com sites the browser defaults to .co.uk sites. ie www.hotels.com defaults to .co.uk site.

Does anyone know how I can get the .com website to display.

thanks

X360 Wireless Network Adaptor £49.99 - PCWorld

Like other companies PCWorld have offers for X360, however the price for the adaptor is best I have seen. You can collect in-store at this price.

RE: Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare (full game)

cdwow have the pc version for £20.49. Ordered mine yesterday now showing as dispatched.
The demo has played really well, maybe a contender for the best game 2007?

RE: Sixty pint beer binge- still alive!

Is the drink/get drunk a British thing?, that`s what most of Europe thinks well that`s what I have found and hear often since I have been working in Europe over the last 2 years.

Yes we Americans are often over weight, but you guys are catching up fast if the reports are true.

RE: Fantasy Football

17 Now, really looking forward to an exciting soccer season, with some interesting transfers & change of managers

RE: Are Three (the mobile network) any good?

Hi
The 3 yrs I have spent in the UK I have used the 3 service and I must say I have had no problems at all.
I was scheduled to return to New York in July but that has been postponed, I phone 3 and told them I need to extend the contact again by at least 6 months all done as one would expect.
Their customer service is fairly good and informative.
I like the 3 content for the soccer season keeping up to date with scores, I will miss that when I go back home as we don`t have that service available.

RE: Asda - Pepsi Frenzy (again)

Hi All
My delivery is expected today, however I would advise you check your bank/card transaction as I found my credit card had been charged £10 more than the website order. The evoucher had not been deducted at their office, refund of £10 sorted after a phone call.

Have a great day.

RE: British Navy in Iran

Quote:
On this occasion? I take it you don`t live in the UK. The UK government has been seen as weak since early 2003 at the very least...

After 3yrs here, I should be heading back to the USA later this year. Unless I am asked to stay on again (Twice before).
I do agree with you, but look on the bright side they will not survive the next election. Thats what we are predicting in the banking world.

For the sake of getting the soldiers released I hope Blair is talking with Bush discussing the next phase (as Blair calls it) because if Iran won`t co-operate for a peaceful outcome, we will need to stand together to sort it. Most European goverments will be running for cover as usual.

RE: British Navy in Iran

The British goverment are being seen as very weak on this occassion. No doubt the British & Americans will join forces if the Iranians don`t come to their senses.

European members France, Germany & Italy are still trading with them, at least with the Americans you know they are your friends. We may not get it right everytime but will always stand side by side with the British.

Lets hope these soldiers are released safe and well.

God bless America & Great Britain.

BT Vision - Anyone Got It?

Just wondered if anyone has had any contact from BT since the launch on Monday of this week?
I registered last July & on Monday but have not had any communication from them.

RE: is this really what the Kiwi`s think of us Brits??

i think so... having just come back from the states they seem to have some very weird opinions about us to?

What would they be?

We have alot of time for our best freinds, most people I know very rarely take the p*ss out of the UK.

RE: xmas night out with work

I work in the money markets in London, our xmas celebration will be at a hotel outside of London. All associates are treated to a home pick up by car to the hotel, a three course dinner, disco, hotel room with breakfast. Then a car to home at midday.
All cost are met by the company

This is probably my last Xmas here in the UK as I am scheduled to return to the USA July 07.

RE: Have you ever cheated on your partner?

Yes for the last 15 years with my mother in law.
My family and the mother in law live together, and when the rest of the family are out or on vacation it`s fun time.
The mother in law has just had her 71st birthday and still does things my wife would not dream of.
It`s great.

RE: Sky moves one step closer to being cancelled - Film4 coming to freeview

RE:

At least we Brits have conquered the world; the US Army can`t even conquer two countries and control their people without blowing each other up and disguising it as friendly fire. Or become an anti war protester just because a member of your family got shot, sure you lot like to nit pick on our military mistakes, but at least we had a British Empire, all you lot have is a powerful media empire, that`s all.

Your words give you a clue "but at least we had a British Empire"

The only reason you have independence is because we gave it you, we could easily take it back off you.

LOL

Oh, and they have just killed Abu Musab al-Zarqawi

Excellent news. Pity it was not more of them.

RE:

Oh dear!!!! You British are so easy to wind up.
If you like it or not, USA is still the most powerfull nation in the world.

I for one and probably speak for many others, it great our two countries are friends.
The world is a safer place for that who ever is leading these two great countries, and I mean that.

Have a nice day.

RE: "Every American should have the right to bear arms"

Yes you are doing well because as a whole your country supports the UK & USA as allies.
We have guns with a crime rate coming down but will never get to zero, you have a knife culture with crime rate going up.

RE: "Every American should have the right to bear arms"

Some of you hate us, but can`t live without us.
GOD BLESS AMERICA.

RE: Lisa

I watched the highlights on Monday and rewind the part when she went off on one. In one minute she used the F word seventeen time yes 17. I could not beleive it and counted again.
That alone she should be voted out.
Enough said I think.

Fantasy Football

Hi
I have just entered the Daily Telegraph Fantasy World Cup to add some extra intrest to the competition.
Now the problem is I dont know who the regular players are for most of the teams, so my question is "does anyone know of any sites I could view, that will give me the player stats for say the last four games each country has played"

Should be a great World Cup really looking forward to it.
