RE: Free coffee maker (with 2 cups)

Accidently ordered 2 coffee makers. Couldn`t remove one from order, so went ahead any way, and guess what? Both showed up this morning. Brilliant spot. Now all I have to do is develop an addiction to coffee. :D

RE: Surround Sound Headphones Recommendations

Thanks for the reply Tony. Ordered the headphones Sunday and they arrived this morning. Well pleased :D

Surround Sound Headphones Recommendations

Looking to buy surround sound headphones for my dvd player, so as not to annoy the neighbours when I watch films late at night. Had a pair from tchibo but was not impressed, especially as they stopped working after 2 days use. Only other pair I could find was from firebox.com. Anyone got any recommendations or advice. Willing to spend up to £100. Thanks.

RE: Cracking Mobile Phone Deal

Just taken up this offer. Does appear at 1st glance too good to be true, but cannot find a catch. Needed a new mobile, as the one I`ve got the batteries knackered and contract runs out Feb, so offer seemed ideal. Free mobile, no contract charge for a year + £20 cashback for old mobile and £18 goes to charity, and all I have to do is to remember to downgrade contract after 4 months 8). Great spot Westy, much obliged :) . Merry Christmas everybody, and hopefully there be loads more bargains to be had in the New Year :D ;) .

RE: 28" Widescreen TV - Anyone know any under £250

Might be worth a look at www.usedtv.co.uk. They have a few re-con. ex-rental 28" TV`s for between £129-£189. plus £20 delivery. Worth ringing for stock availability as site isn`t always up to date. Bought the Sanyo 28WN1 from them about 2 months ago & I am well happy with it.

RE: Cheap dvd player that is 5.1 compatible

Thanks for your help. Have just ordered a Ronin P80H. Had everything that was suggested & more. Was only £64 so a bit cheaper than the other dvd players suggested when you take into account delivery charges for the cyberhome 505. :)

RE: Cheap dvd player that is 5.1 compatible

Thanks tazz. Posted question on that thred to confuse things a little bit more.

RE: Player gone to dvd heaven need help

Been to special-reserve.co.uk and noticed a few ronin players that look like a good deal.
i.e the ronin P215 for £50.99, P701 for £54.99 or the P703 for £59.99. Does anyone know if these are any good, & what you get for the extra £4 & £5 in novice terms. :/

Cheap dvd player that is 5.1 compatible

I am looking to buy a cheap dvd player (about £50), that is multi-region, plays vcd and that is also 5.1 compatible, as I will want to add a 5.1 speaker system to it later. Am I asking for too much at that price? Have looked at the Daewoo DVG6000D, but apparently cant process 5.1, does this make a difference if I connect a cheap 5.1 speker set to it? All help would be greatly appreciated. :/

RE: Woolworths 3 DVDs For A Score !!!!

I agree, some O.K. titles. Got Heat, A time to kill & Donnie Brasco, all titles that were not in Tower Reecords 3 for £20 deal (at least they were not when I got there).

RE: Free Shampoo Anyone ????

Great spot. Thanks.

RE: ## pioneer htd-5 help ##

I bought this system about a month ago and so far have been very impressed. This is my first dvd player so I am a total novice and have nothing to compare it too but I will be as helpful as possible. I take it your looking to buy it from techtronics. If so had no problems with delivery or anything else. Am impressed with the no. of different features it has i.e. sound options are numerous and you can control each speaker setting within these. Also has radio with DTS, an alarm, sleep timer and the multi disc changer is good for playing CDs especially before going to sleep.
The only negative I can think of is its size, as it is very bulky. But I don`t care what it looks like as long as it does the job.
Also it has no scart connections at the back which apparently is not good, but I had no problem connecting it to my TV, although have`nt been bothered to connect it to my NTL box yet, as not sure what cable I need.
Hope this was helpful, any more questions feel free to ask.

Has any one got a Pioneer HTD-5 Home Cinema Package

Is the Pioneer HTD-5 any good? Thinking of buying this for £280, or the Aiwa HTDV90 any suggestions.

Looking to buy home theatre system for between £200-£300. Any recommendations?

Am a first time buyer looking to get a multi-regional home theatre system that can play vcd. Best I have seen is a Pioneer HTD-5 from techtronics for £280. Can anyone tell me if it is any good or suggest something else.
