Synopsis:
In Luchino Visconti`s Conversation Piece, Burt Lancaster plays a retired American professor who lives alone in an ornate house. Into this well-ordered life comes a decadent matriarch (Silvana Mangano), her nubile teenage daughter, her husband, and her sometime-lover (Helmut Berger).
